Fruit and vegetable costumes are available for loan to SC residents from the Bureau of Community Health and Chronic Disease Prevention. These costumes can help teach the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption for improved health. They can be used for a variety of nutrition education activities and events, such as supermarket tours, National Nutrition Month activities, cooking demonstrations, Walk to School Day events, and classroom nutrition education presentations.
The Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Exhibit Board is also available for loan to SC residents. The exhibit board contains display pictures that include nutrition messages, colorful images of fruits and vegetables, children enjoying fruits and vegetables, and people participating in physical activity. The exhibit board can be used at a community event or meeting where you would like to raise awareness of healthy eating and active living.
