DHEC's York County clinics offer afternoon and Saturday schedule for school shots
COLUMBIA – After-school and Saturday immunization opportunities will be available for children's school shots in York County, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control announced today.
"Appointments will be available during the workweek, but because we know it can be difficult to take a child out of school, we are holding additional immunization clinics in the late afternoon and on Saturday, Sept. 6," said Arleen Fincher, supervisor of nursing for DHEC's York County Public Health Department. "Parents should call to make an appointment and be certain to bring a copy of the child's immunization record with them to the appointment."
