DHEC’s Region 8 Public Health sets flu clinics for Election Day
PORT ROYAL – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Region 8 Public Health Departments in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties will hold walk-in influenza vaccination clinics on Nov. 4, DHEC announced today.
“We will also extend our business hours to offer flu shots on Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.,” said Matt Petrofes, public health director for Region 8, which serves Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties. “People will be getting out to vote on Tuesday and we want to make it easier for them to protect their health by coming to the nearest DHEC public health department to get a flu shot.”
