Staying Informed

For the safety of you and your family, it is critical that you continuously stay informed during before, during and after a hurricane. Therefore, you need to know what warning systems and information resources are available in your community. These systems and resources can include:

• Radio and television stations
• NOAA weather radios
• Internet
• Local emergency officials or police
• Rumor control lines
