Annual S.C. DHEC Regulation Development Report for Fiscal Year 2010 (July 24, 2009 - June 25, 2010) and Updated Listing of Department Regulations

The information provided in this annual report covers regulation development activity for the promulgation of the Department’s (DHEC) regulations subject to the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) at S.C. Code Ann. Sections 1-23-10 et seq. for FY 2010 (July 24, 2009 through June 25, 2010).

All DHEC Notices of General Public Interest, Notices of Drafting, Notices of Proposed Regulations and Opportunity for Public Comment, and Notices of Final Regulations that were published in the S.C. State Register, as well as on the Department’s Regulatory Information website, are included and are listed in this report, along with the State Register volume, issue and date in which each was published. The S.C. State Register is published on the fourth Friday of each month for 12 months per fiscal year. For example: SR 33-7 means that the document was published in State Register Volume 33 Issue 7 on July 24, 2009. SR 34-6 means that the document was published in State Register Volume 34 Issue 6 on June 25, 2010.

Additionally, this report also provides an updated listing of all of the Department’s regulations and effective dates through June 25, 2010, as well as a listing of public hearings that were conducted by the Board of Health and Environmental Control on proposed regulations pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Section 1-23-111.

Public Hearings Conducted by the Board of Health and Environmental Control:

Pursuant to S.C.
