Emission Inventory Section Procedure Manual (WORKING DRAFT)
Documents emission estimation methodologies, quality control/quality assurance and federal data reporting. Emission estimation methodologies are incorporated by reference from Emission Inventory Improvement Program (EIIP) Preferred Methods documents. Tier I Assessment , DHEC, December 2005 This guidance document outlines the scope of work for a Tier I Assessment that is to be conducted at sites where a release of petroleum from a regulated underground storage tank (UST) has been confirmed and additional information is necessary to further categorize the release.

Tier II Assessment, DHEC, December 2005 Document outlines an assessment methodology for sites with petroleum releases where additional investigation of site-specific conditions is warranted. Used to define the extent of all petroleum chemicals of concern (CoC) (to include RCRA metals for waste oil USTs) as well as identify all current and potential receptors that could be impacted by the release from a regulated UST system. The results of the Tier II Assessment are to be used to establish appropriate site-specific target levels and recommendations for future actions

Corrective Action, DHEC, March 2000 This document outlines the criteria for corrective action of petroleum releases from regulated underground storage tanks (UST) and is designed to meet the applicable requirements of the South Carolina Underground Storage Tank Control Regulations, R.61-92 Part 280, and the SUPERB Site Rehabilitation and Fund Access Regulations, R.61-98.

Underground Storage Tank Assessment Guidelines for Permanent Closure and Change-In-Service, DHEC, February 2006 Document outlines owner and operator responsibilities for meeting subpart G requirements of the SC UST Control regulations, "Out of Service UST Systems and Closure" and report format.
