Since 1972, AVX has manufactured a variety of ceramic capacitors and electronic components at its Myrtle Beach facility. The components manufactured at this facility are used in the automotive, medical and consumer electronics industries. This facility also conducts research and development of new products, materials and processes.
DHEC has developed this Web site to provide the public with quick access to AVX information and the ability to register for future updates. This site will continue to grow as more information is gathered for this facility. This Web page will serve as a central repository for information in an effort to better inform the public of potential issues and concerns.
