Walking and biking are good transportation choices for those within a relatively short, safe distance from work, shopping, or school. Others may be able to bike or walk to a bus stop or park and ride location.
National, State, and Local Organizations
There are a wide range of clubs and organizations in South Carolina that are actively supporting walking and cycling. Some plan and conduct rides and events, others are nonprofit advocacy groups working to improve conditions.
Some focus on both in addition to other activities. Since each group's mission, services, or contact information can change over time, we are directing you to their respective web sites for details and contact information.
