Air Quality
Emissions Inventory
Introduction
Emissions Inventory reporting is required by Regulation 61-62.1 Section III and condition
4.B.6 continued in Part 4.B of a facility's
Title V
permit. These Emissions
Inventory Reports shall be submitted to the manager of the Emissions Inventory Section
of the Bureau of Air Quality. All other reports required by a facility's Title
V permit shall be submitted to the manager of the
Technical Management
Section of the Bureau of Air Quality unless otherwise indicated.
Training Dates Set for Emissions Inventory Workshops
This is the year that all Inventory Type A, Inventory Type B and all sources major
for HAPs are required to submit their three year cycle inventories. This means most
Title V facilities will be required to do a complete emissions inventory for calendar
year 2008 due March 31, 2009. Facilities will be required to use the web-based electronic
reporting tool know as Web-Steps. Because this system is new to many facilities,
we are offering training classes during January. The class will demonstrate the
system as well as answer any inventory related questions. The class will begin at
9:00 am in the training rooms of the 2600 Bull Street, Columbia, SC offices and
should last approximately 3 to 3 ½ hours. We will be available after each class
for additional questions. Space is limited in each class, so we recommend you register
early to ensure your first choice of dates. We plan to open registration on December
15. Check back here for more registration information
