- May 21, 2013: EPA has published two draft Technical Assistance Documents (TADs) on the use of modeling and monitoring to determine if an area meets the 2010 Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Comments due July 22, 2010.
- December 26, 2012: EPA has redesignated the South Carolina part of the Charlotte nonattainment area for the 1997 Ozone NAAQS to attainment.
- December 14, 2012: EPA has revised the NAAQS for Particulate Matter (PM).
