The use and production of fossil fuels definitely impacts our environment. Mobile sources that burn fossil fuels such as cars and trucks are the single biggest source of air pollution in SC. But what about "off-road" sources of air pollution like your gas-powered lawn mower? Most people do not associate air pollution with lawn and garden maintenance. Yet emissions from lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and similar outdoor power equipment are a significant source of air pollution.

What can you do?
