Digital Terrain Data for use with AERMOD

The terrain processor for AERMOD (AERMap) requires 1:24K scale (7.5 min) Digital Elevation Model Files (DEM), prepared in Spatial Data Transfer Standard (SDTS) form only. The USGS has provided links on their website directing users to private partners where these files can be downloaded at no cost. To go to the USGS DEM website, please use this link: http://edc.usgs.gov/geodata/

For any questions regarding the use of these datasets, please contact Paul Martin in the Bureau of Air Quality (803) 898-4088 or martinpc@dhec.sc.gov.
