Eco-Jeopardy

Earth picture"Eco-Jeopardy," an environmental education video that replicates the popular television game show "Jeopardy," will air throughout South Carolina on Earth Day. The video, which targets fourth to eighth-grade students, will air on S.C. Educational Television stations beginning at noon on April 22 and will be shown a second time at 5:00 p.m.

"Eco-Jeopardy" will be a  thirty minute program starring students from South Carolina’s schools playing the main roles. For more information and additional resources, please call DHEC's Office of Solid Waste Reduction and Recycling at

After watching “Eco-Jeopardy,” students may have more questions or want more information on the environmental issues discussed during the program.
Additional information is available on each of the answers and questions on “Eco-Jeopardy,” including links to further information. The additional information is provided as it appeared on the program. In short, by round (first or second game), subject category, answer, question and dollar amount to help students who watched the program find links to additional information.
