DHEC's Office of Solid Waste Reduction and Recycling (Office) provides technical assistance and education/awareness programs to local governments, schools and the public regarding solid waste and recycling issues. The Office also offers several grant programs to local governments, schools and colleges/universities. The Office has no regulatory, compliance or enforcement role.
