DHEC-OCRM Beachfront Jurisdictional Lines
In accordance with Section 48-39-280(C) of the Coastal Zone Management Act, the following state beachfront jurisdictional lines have been adopted during the 2008-2010 revision cycle. Pursuant to Section 48-39-280 (E) of the Coastal Zone Management Act, affected property owners may appeal the adopted baseline, setback line and/or erosion rates within one year of adoption by DHEC. For additional information on this procedure, please see regulation R.30-14 (F) in the Critical Area Regulations.
