A Starter's Guide for Community-Based Wastewater Solutions
This guide (pdf) by the Green Mountain Institute for Environmental Democracy is intended to help community members and local officials work with experts and take some early steps to understand the longer-term requirements for tackling wastewater issues. The authors of this Guide recognize that there is a mountain of resources available for each stage of the process that can lead a community from their current challenge to solution. The Guide highlights some of the resources and provides a menu of activities that integrate that information with your community decision-making. This Guide will be most effective if it is used with a community assistance provider to offer additional experience.
