DHEC proposes to approve the Waccamaw River surface water discharge permit as a back-up disposal location for the land application of treated wastewater from the GCWSD/DeBordieu facility. ,HEARING DETAILS:

- Before the hearing, at 6:00 PM, DHEC will hold an informal meeting to summarize the draft permit and answer questions.

Event Details: The Natural Resource Trustees will hold an informational public meeting to discuss the expenditure of the Restoration Funds for the Sangamo 12-Mile Creek settlement. The Natural Resource Trustees includes the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the United States Army Corps of Engineers and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
