EPA Region 4 Section 401 Conference

- Cumulative Impact Assessment and Isolated Wetlands -

On November 5-7, 2008, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the US Environmental Protection Agency - Region 4, hosted a conference for Region 4 states at the Mills Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. The purpose of the conference was to provide states with an opportunity to hear about and discuss various approaches to assessing cumulative impacts in their 401 certifications as well as means to assess and protect isolated wetlands.
