Champions’ sponsors a competition for middle school youth known as the Environmental Awareness Essay and Photo Competition (EAC). This event lets students show off their creativity and knowledge about the natural world. The Environmental Awareness Essay and Photo Competition takes place each spring.

2009 Environmental Awareness Competition Winners

Sixth, seventh or eight grade students in a public, private or home-school setting in South Carolina may enter one or both of the competition divisions.

• Essay
• Poster

View the division guidelines.

• First place in each division wins $150 cash.
• Second place in each division wins $100 cash.
• Third place in each division wins $75 cash.
• Winners also receive a certificate, medal, and a Champions’ T-shirt.
