Groundwater Programs

Because of man's activities at the land surface, some groundwaters of the State have been contaminated. Clean-up of these contaminated groundwaters is very costly and time-consuming. Therefore, most groundwater protection programs within the Bureau of Water focus on the protection of the quality and quantity of the State's groundwater resources.
