S.C. DHEC requires that a Notice of Termination to be submitted on all active coverage approvals under the NPDES permitting program when the site reaches the final stabilization status, when associated property is sold, when coverage under an alternative NPDES permit has been obtained, or (in the case of coverage under the Industrial General Permit) when activities are no longer present that would require a stormwater NPDES permit.
Industrial activities are required to submit the following Notice of Termination when the associated property is sold or when the associated activities are no longer discharging storm water.
For construction activities with coverage under the 2006 Construction General Permit that have reached final stabilization are required to submit EPA From 3510-13 to S.C. DHEC in order to notify that the authorized stormwater discharge associated with construction activity is no longer being released.
For construction activities prior to 2006, please use the directions provided in following document, Notices of Termination for SCR100000, to file the Notice of Termination.
