April 27, 1998: Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority (WCRSA) files petition for administrative review of DHEC's final determination that a lake trophic state index of less than 250 requires placement on the 1998 303(d) list of impaired waters
June 16, 1998: The US EPA approves the South Carolina 1998 303(d) list of impaired waters
September 22, 1999: State Administrative Law Judge's Order for Summary Judgement - required DHEC to amend the 1998 303(d) list to remove lakes impaired due to phosphorus or pH
February 10, 2000: Settlement, Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority, Combined Utilities of Easley, Greenwood Metropolitan District, SCDHEC, & Friends of the Reedy River - dismissed WCRSA's appeal of the 303(d) list
