What We Do
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention (HDSP) Division was launched in 1998 with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Our mission is to improve cardiovascular health for all, eliminate disparities, and reduce the burden of heart disease and stroke in the Palmetto State.
