Fruit and Vegetable Costumes/Table Top Exhibit

Fruits and vegetable costumes are available for loan from the Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Program for SC residents to use in nutrition-related activities.  These costumes can be used for a variety of educational activities and events.  In the past, costumes have been used during supermarket tours, National Nutrition Month activities, cooking demonstrations, Walt to School events, and classroom nutrition education presentations to name just a few options!  The costumes are always a big hit for whatever fun events you may have planned.  What could be more fun than having a variety of fruits and vegetable at your next event to really spark interest and help teach the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption for improved health!

The Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Exhibit Board is also available for loan to SC residents.  The exhibit board contains pictures for display use that include colorful images of fruits and vegetables, children enjoying fruits and vegetables, nutrition messages, and people participating in physical activity.  Logo signs for Fruits & Veggies More Matters TM, South Carolina Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity, and South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance are also included with the exhibit.  The exhibit board is a great addition to a community event, health fair, or meeting where you’d like to raise awareness of healthy nutrition and physical activity.
