S.C. Health Plan

On September 18, 2012 the State Health Planning Committee approved submitting the Draft 2012-2013 South Carolina Health Plan to the Board of Health and Environmental Control for final approval. The Board will consider the Plan at their November 8, 2012 meeting. This link contains the Draft Plan submitted to the Board for approval:

Over time, the inventories and/or need projections change from those in the Plan that was adopted by the DHEC Board.  Staff intends to update these figures on-line as needed to provide the most current information. An updated spreadsheet showing the current nursing home bed need is linked below. The counties highlighted in blue are those where the bed need has changed since the 2012-2013 Plan was published:
