How Can I Get Involved?
CHESS is now available for use by health care providers in South Carolina.
Over the last year, interested providers have been signing up and using CHESS. In return, they receive reports on disease prevalence in the state.
Tuberculosis and Lead cannot be entered into CHESS at the present time. They must be reported through disease report cards, phone calls, and printouts.
For other reportable diseases, CHESS will make disease reporting easier and give you more access to disease information.
