Sing, Talk and Read to Your Baby

• Your baby needs you to learn about the world. Your baby learns:
  • When you hold him.
  • When you talk and show him interesting things.
• Your baby learns by playing and having fun with you. Your baby learns by:
  • Touching,
  • Tasting,
  • Smelling,
  • Looking,
  • Listening,
  • Putting things in his mouth,
  • And by doing the same things over and over.
• Take your baby outside when the weather is nice.
• Your toddler needs to play outside everyday that the weather is nice. Make a safe place outside for your toddler to play.
  • Your toddler learns with those who love him.
  • Your toddler learns by having fun and by doing.
  • Your toddler needs to share what he is learning with you.
  • Talk to him about what he is doing and learning.
  • This is how he will learn to talk.
  • Doctors say no TV for baby and toddler.
