Environmental Health Services

resaurant inspectionGeneral Environmental Health Services include:

  • inspection and regulation of mobile home parks, subdivisions, septic tank systems, hotels, motels, schools, and childcare facilities,
  • investigation of nuisance complaints,
  • campground sanitation and safety,
  • inspection and regulation of all food service establishments, retail food stores, summer feeding programs, mobile food, temporary food services and special events,
  • rabies control,
  • lead poisoning investigations,
  • product safety,
  • vector and mosquito control,
  • private well water analysis, and
  • educational environmental programs.

Fees:
New septic tank contractors and/or pumpers license:
Single license - $100.00; dual license - $150.00
Septic tank application fee - $150.00
Subdivision review process - $150 per lot
Well water fees - $25 for Bac T
Well water fees - $50 for Metals & Minerals Analysis
Annual food service/retail food store permit - $60.00 (fee may be based on annual gross sales of food)
