Family Planning Program
Services Provided:
These are a sample of the many services provided:
- Birth Control Available on Site (Up to a year’s supply of birth control)
- High Quality services for Women, Men and Teens
- Educational and Counseling Services
- Physical Exams
- Pap Smear
- Family Health History
- Laboratory and Pregnancy Testing
- HIV Risk Assessment (education, counseling and testing)
- Follow up of Abnormal Test Findings (as required by program policy or federal guidelines)
All Services are:
- Provided as required by Federal Regulations
- Provided solely on a Voluntary Basis
- Confidential
- Offered in accordance with State and Federal Laws and Regulations pertaining to discrimination
Birth Control Methods:
Clients, who are at-risk of an unintended pregnancy, are offered a broad range of prescription and non-prescription acceptable and effective medically approved birth control methods.
- Instruction in Abstinence
- Hormonal Contraceptives
- Intrauterine Devices
- Barrier Contraceptives
- Instruction in Natural Family Planning Methods
- Permanent Methods of Contraception for Women and Men available to clients 21 or over (following stringent federal regulations)
