Public health social workers focus on the promotion of positive health behaviors in individuals, families and groups; the enhancement of the environment; and avoidance of risk.
Services include:
- advocacy,
- assessment,
- community organization,
- consultation,
- counseling,
- education,
- geriatric services,
- group work,
- outreach, and
- resource linkage.
Fee: Services are not denied due to inability to pay.
