The mission of the Region 6 Public Health Office is to promote, protect and improve the health and environment for the citizens of Georgetown, Horry and Williamsburg counties through a number of programs and services.
As your public health partner our mission also includes prevention. For example, we work to prevent epidemics and the spread of disease, to protect against environmental hazards and to help prevent injuries.
