Services:
Educational Materials Resource Center: an assortment of printed health information on a wide range of topics including nutrition, heart disease, safety, injury prevention, parenting, smoking, STD, HIV, immunizations and other areas of interest are available. Quantity limited to 25 of each. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5PM.
Human Resources: if you are interested in finding out what positions are available with DHEC or if you want to submit an application. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5PM.
Environmental Health: the following services are available to you either over the telephone or in person at our offices:
- Food Service: new food service applications and permitting, inspections and training
- Soil: requests for new septic systems, questions about malfunctioning systems
- General Sanitation: nuisance complaints about rodents or insects, day care health and safety training, school health and safety concerns, questions related to rabies control
Hours are Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30 PM.
Vital Records: to request birth or death certificates for Charleston County. Hours are 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

| Take I-526 toward Savannah. Exit at Leeds Ave. Turn left at the stop light, cross back over I-526. Turn right on Bridge View Dr. at the next stop light. The Region 7 Administrative offices are located in the first building on the right side of the road in the County Of Charleston Perimeter Center Building. | Get onto I-526 towards Mt. Pleasant and Georgetown. Cross the bridge over the Ashley River and take the next exit, Leeds Ave. Turn right at the traffic light and then right at the next light onto Bridge View Drive.
