Regulatory Development
- The Regulation Development Update (doc) is a DHEC Register published concurrently with the publication of the South Carolina State Register on the fourth Friday of each month and reports the Department’s regulation development activity for the promulgation of new regulations or amendment or repeal of existing regulations during a 12-month period from July through June of each fiscal year. The current reporting period of activity covers FY 2010 (July 24, 2009 through June 27, 2010). As proposed regulations are moved through the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) legal process, a synopsis and a status section is provided for each, which will link by document number to the full text of the proposal, if available, at the S.C. Legislature On-Line website, as well as to information on how interested public may become involved by public comment. Additionally, the Update also provides a listing of all DHEC regulations and their effective dates.
