2015 Spare The Air Winner Announced!
Congratulations to D. W. Daniel High School's environmental science class on receiving the 2016 Spare the Air Outstanding School Award! Students in the AP environment science class organized a tire "inflation station" to educate classmates about how proper tire inflation can improve mileage and reduce toxic emissions. They also collected data on emissions from idling cars in the student pick-up lot and worked to educate drivers on the environmental benefits of not idling. Way to go, D.W. Daniel High School!
