Environmental Health Training School
The Bureau of Environmental Health conducts an annual five-week training program, open to new Environmental Health employees from throughout the state who have completed one year of employment. The Environmental Health School affords an opportunity for new employees to develop skills and gain valuable knowledge about the programs and services provided by DHEC, as well as fundamental technical training and information about Environmental Health programs. The success of the school relies heavily on the participation and assistance of many staff members of the Bureau of Environmental Health and from all parts of DHEC, whose efforts and contributions to the annual training program are very important for developing knowledgeable employees. Alex Moss is the coordinator of this annual program.
