DHEC is hosting a meeting to discuss the environmental cleanup and proposed Settlement for the former ThermalKEM Site on March 22, 2022. The meeting will be held at the Saluda Trail Middle School School Auditorium (2300 Saluda Road in Rock Hill). Public comments on the Settlement are being accepted through April 29, 2022. If approved, the Settlement will reimburse DHEC $4.4 million in past cleanup costs, as well as fund certain future cleanup activities at the site. At this meeting, DHEC staff will provide:

• An Availability Session for individual questions/discussions | 5:30 until 6:30pm.
• A Presentation and group questions/discussions | Beginning at 6:35pm.
